A community health services trust is seeking a qualified Advanced Occupational Therapist to support patient rehabilitation in Slough. This part-time role offers flexible working options, with a salary range of £50,008 to £56,908 per annum. The successful candidate will combine clinical duties and management within an integrated services environment. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently are essential.
Advanced Community Occupational Therapist/ Base - Upton, Slough/ 0.6 wte part time / no 'On call' or weekend work / MSc level training supported / Free staff parking. Patient experience and Staff Health & wellbeing is high on our agenda; the working days/times for the successful candidate can be flexible.
We have an exciting Band 7 opportunity within our Integrated Services based at Upton Hospital across Community and Assessment and Rehabilitation in East Berkshire, and are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and innovative candidate.
For this post you will need to have good, solid experience of working as an Occupational Therapist in the rehabilitation of older adults at Band 6 level. A good working knowledge of how the different community, primary and secondary care services, Local Authorities and voluntary services work together is also key. The post will involve a mixture of clinical and management duties.
As well as working clinically, this post will support the implementation of Occupational Therapy within the Integrated Services East, promoting learning, service innovation and leadership.
To be successful in this position you will need the ability to work independently and as a team player; You will work closely with the Integrated Services locality leads and alongside other community services leads and the Integrated Service manager.
