Advanced Nurse Practitioner / Trainee Advanced Nurse Practitioner (Urgent Care) Annex 21 - Paragraph 2 (i)
Location: Angus (base to be decided at interview)
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced individual to join our skilled multidisciplinary teams in delivering urgent and unscheduled primary care across Angus.
As an autonomous practitioner, you will provide advanced clinical assessment and decision-making to meet the urgent care needs of our population. You will be a key contributor to the delivery of high-quality advanced nursing practice within General Practice and play an integral role in supporting Angus Health and Social Care Partnership (HSCP) in providing evidence-based, person-centred care.
Applicants should hold, or be actively working towards, a Postgraduate Diploma in Advanced Practice. We also welcome applications for trainee Advanced Nurse Practitioner roles. Development will be supported through a structured framework combining academic study, clinical supervision, and dedicated mentorship to meet the requirements of advanced practice competencies.
Those applying for trainee positions should demonstrate relevant learning aligned to the advanced practice pathway and must be capable of undertaking study at SCQF Level 11. Remuneration for trainee roles will be in line with Annex 21, paragraph 2(i) of the NHS terms and conditions, with consideration given to current pay banding.
All applicants must be registered with the UK NMC and have significant post-registration experience. You should be able to demonstrate expert clinical knowledge and professional practice—ideally within an unscheduled care or primary care setting.
