Job description

Within your professional boundaries, you will assess, diagnose, and provide advice, care, and management to patients presenting with undiagnosed or undifferentiated illness via telephone consultations or face-to-face assessments for patients requiring home visits.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Undertake face-to-face and telephone triage consultations
  • Interpret pathology/radiology results/reports
  • Prescribe and review medication
  • Plan, implement, and evaluate an effective management plan for the patient

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience as an Advanced Nurse Practitioner with the ability to deliver quality, individualized care to patients with a high level of autonomy
  • Full NMC Registration with no restrictions
  • MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice
  • Non-Medical Prescriber V300
  • Clinical Examination and Diagnostics Level 7
  • Experience working in the acute sector, urgent/emergency services environment, or out-of-hours services at a senior level
