Job summary

A healthcare provider in the UK is seeking an Advanced Nurse Practitioner to deliver quality, individualized care to patients. Positions are available part-time and full-time across multiple locations in Liverpool and surrounding areas. The ideal candidate will have an MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice and full NMC registration. Responsibilities include triage consultations, interpreting medical results, and prescribing medication. Job description

Within your professional boundaries, you will assess, diagnose, and provide advice, care, and management to patients presenting with undiagnosed or undifferentiated illness via telephone consultations or face-to-face assessments for patients requiring home visits.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Undertake face-to-face and telephone triage consultations
  • Interpret pathology/radiology results/reports
  • Prescribe and review medication
  • Plan, implement, and evaluate an effective management plan for the patient

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience as an Advanced Nurse Practitioner with the ability to deliver quality, individualized care to patients with a high level of autonomy
  • Full NMC Registration with no restrictions
  • MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice
  • Non-Medical Prescriber V300
  • Clinical Examination and Diagnostics Level 7
  • Experience working in the acute sector, urgent/emergency services environment, or out-of-hours services at a senior level
