Job summary

Locums First is seeking Locum Advanced Nurse Practitioners to deliver autonomous ANP-led clinics across Dunbeath and surrounding communities. You will support GP surgeries, urgent care hubs and community health settings with flexible sessions that fit your weekly availability.

Responsibilities include running independent ANP clinics, triaging both by phone and on-site, and prescribing within scope while maintaining thorough clinical notes. DBS clearance and Level 7 ANP qualification are required.

Qualifications

• Recognised Level 7 Advanced Nurse Practitioner qualification.
• V300 Independent Prescribing registration.
• Experience in community or primary care settings.
• Ability to work autonomously across multiple environments.
• Familiarity with digital clinical systems; enhanced DBS clearance.

You will support local services by delivering autonomous ANP-led clinics, contributing to patient access across GP surgeries, urgent care providers, extended hours hubs and community health settings. The work is varied, well-structured and designed to offer consistency while maintaining flexibility.
