Job summary

Locums First is recruiting Locum Advanced Nurse Practitioners to run autonomous ANP clinics across Coupar Angus and surrounding areas, delivering care in community and primary care settings with flexible session options to match your availability and clinical expertise.

You will manage acute presentations, triage, prescribing within scope, and maintain accurate notes, with opportunities for day/evening/weekend shifts and regular weekly slots or ad-hoc cover.

Qualifications

• Recognised Level 7 ANP qualification is required.
• V300 Independent Prescribing is required.
• Experience in community or primary care settings is essential.
• Ability to work autonomously in different environments.
• Familiarity with digital clinical systems and DBS clearance.

Responsibilities

• Running independent ANP clinics in community and primary care services.
• Managing acute presentations and minor illness cases.
• Telephone and on-site triage for urgent patient demand.
• Prescribing and clinical decision-making within scope.
• Completing follow-up actions and clinical tasks.
• Recording accurate and compliant clinical notes.
