Job summary

Locums First is seeking Locum Advanced Nurse Practitioners to work in Chapelhall, Scotland. You will deliver autonomous ANP-led clinics across community and primary care settings, offering flexible sessions that fit your clinical expertise and weekly availability.

In this role you will manage acute presentations, provide triage by telephone or on-site, and prescribe within your scope while maintaining accurate clinical notes.

Qualifications

• Must hold a recognised Level 7 Advanced Nurse Practitioner qualification.
• V300 Independent Prescribing qualification is essential.
• Experience in community or primary care settings and ability to work autonomously.
• Enhanced DBS clearance is required.

Responsibilities

• Run independent ANP clinics in community and primary care services.
• Manage acute presentations and minor illness cases.
• Provide telephone and on-site triage for urgent patient demand.
• Prescribe and make clinical decisions within scope.

You will support local services by delivering autonomous ANP-led clinics, contributing to patient access across GP surgeries, urgent care providers, extended hours hubs and community health settings. The work is varied, well-structured and designed to offer consistency while maintaining flexibility.
