Job Advert: PCN Urgent & Unscheduled Care Advanced Nurse Practitioner. Waterside Primary Care Network (PCN) Part-time, up to 37.5 hours per week

We are a dynamic, friendly, and supportive PCN with extensive experience in training healthcare professionals and implementing innovative models of care utilizing a diverse skill mix.

Job Overview

There has never been a more exciting time to work in primary care. Waterside PCN is expanding its Clinical Team and is seeking a positive, caring, and self-motivated individual to join our Urgent Care Centre.

Main duties of the job
  1. Provide clinical leadership and support to colleagues within the department.
  2. Deliver advanced level clinical assessment and care.
  3. Utilize diagnostics to enhance clinical examinations.
  4. Contribute to a multidisciplinary team in a busy Urgent Care Centre environment, ideal for consolidating experience from Emergency Departments, Walk-in Centres, GP Practices, or OOH settings.

Qualifications
  • Essential: Registered Nurse, Postgraduate diploma or degree (Advanced Practice Qualification), Qualified Nurse Prescriber, Qualified Triage Nurse.
  • Desirable: Minor Illness Qualification, Teaching Qualification, ALS, PALS.
