Wetmore Road Surgery in East Staffordshire is seeking an enthusiastic ANP with current registration to work within a multidisciplinary team. The post is full-time and salaried, with a split between clinic-based consultations and home visits for housebound, frail, or complex patients.
You will assess health needs, perform autonomous consultations, diagnose, treat or refer, and use advanced practice skills, including independent prescribing and investigations, to deliver high-quality patient care.
Due to ongoing expansion of our clinical team, we are looking for an enthusiastic qualified ANP with current registration to work within our multi-disciplinary team within both the practice and also within the local community. The postholder will be an experienced, autonomous clinician who provides high-quality, patient-centred care. This exciting full-time salaried role splits time between clinic-based consultations and home visits. Patients include the housebound, frail, or complex demographic. The ANP utilises advanced physical assessment, diagnostic, and independent prescribing skills to manage undifferentiated presentations.
You will be responsible for the assessment of health and clinical needs of our patients, undertaking consultations as an autonomous practitioner, using your advanced clinical practice skills, and own clinical judgement to diagnose, treat, or refer patients.
Wetmore Road Surgery have a patient population of approximately 12,500 and are led by six GP Partners in a supportive and caring environment. The practice operates from a busy town centre site with dedicated staff car parking.
We have a large, multidisciplinary clinical team comprising GPs, Advanced Nurse Practitioners (ANPs), Practice Nurses, Healthcare Assistant (HCA), and Pharmacists. We also have a dedicated Outreach Team who support our more vulnerable patients within our local community.
We are an accredited training practice and are committed to supporting the education and development of healthcare professionals. We actively encourage and support the ongoing professional development of all members of our team.
