Job summary

NHS Scotland in Cambuslang is seeking a qualified and motivated Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join our practice team. You will work up to 20 hours per week across two days, with options including Monday + Friday or Monday + Tuesday, to maintain direct clinical care for our patients.

The role involves clinical assessment, prescribing and clinical decision making, with emphasis on risk management and strong communication. Experience with nurse-led triage is desirable but not essential.

Job description

We are looking to cover up to 20 hours per week over 2 days. Monday and Friday or Monday and Tuesday.

Our practice clinical team consists of 3 GP Partners,1 Practice Nurse, Locality Health Board Pharmacists, a Locality CMHT Nurse, a team of Locality Occupational Therapists, a Locality Link Worker and access to Health Board Treatment Room facilities.

We are looking for an additional, qualified enthusiastic and motivated ANP to work along with our excellent and supportive practice team to maintain direct clinical care to patients. Experience with nurse lead triage is desirable.

Your main role will include clinical assessment, prescribing and clinical decision making.

The right candidate must have the ability to manage risk and potential conflict with excellent interpersonal/verbal communication.

Knowledge of Vision and Docman is desirable but not essential.
