Job summary

NHS Grampian is seeking an Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join Acute Medicine, ARI, on a fixed-term/secondment for 18 months. The post supports rotation through RAAC/AMIA/DVT services and the Flow Navigation Centre, with dedicated non-clinical time for advanced practice development.

The role requires evidence of Master’s level work, autonomous clinical practice, and a commitment to developing new service models to improve patient outcomes within NHS Grampian.

Qualifications

• Evidence of working and thinking at Master’s level should be demonstrated in the personal portfolio.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-level, autonomous clinical practice within Acute Medicine.
• Undertake assessment, diagnosis, treatment and management of adults with acute or complex conditions.
• Support and contribute to the Flow Navigation Centre (FNC) and related acute medicine services.
• Maintain core and area-specific competencies for Advanced Practice in Acute Care.
