Job summary

NHS Scotland's Victoria Hospital invites applications for an Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) in acute medicine, covering Admissions Unit One, SDEC and Flow and Navigation. The ANP will perform history taking, clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment and evaluation, delivering expert care and safe clinical decision making.

Applicants should hold non-medical prescribing and clinical decision making qualifications, with postgraduate study to master's level or progress toward it.

Qualifications

• Evidence of non-medical prescribing and clinical decision making qualifications.
• Significant post-registration professional practice experience.
• Masters-level qualification or working toward it.

Responsibilities

• Provide care from history taking to evaluation of care.
• Teach, supervise and mentor staff.
• Plan, prioritise and delegate work across teams.
