We have an exciting opportunity for an Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join our Primary Care team at HMP Wayland, a category C Prison located in Griston in Norfolk.

Salary - Up to £60,000 depending on experience.

Shift patterns between Monday-Sunday: 8.30am-5pm

Main duties of the job

• Provide expert clinical assessment and management of complex patient cases.
• Provide clinical leadership for the mental health team, including multidisciplinary professionals.
• Act as a role model, maintaining professional standards and appearance.
• Support senior clinicians and be part of the daily leadership team.
• Ensure patient safety, manage complex cases, and apply current treatment methodologies.

Candidate requirements

• Registered professional with current registration (NMC, HCPC).
• Evidence of Continued Professional Development.
• Masters in Advanced Practice or equivalent qualification.
• Recognised prescribing qualification.
• Understanding of multidisciplinary and multi-agency working.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Understanding of clinical governance, health and safety, QOF, EBP, and standards.
