A healthcare facility in Southampton is seeking an Advanced Nurse Practitioner to provide patient care through various consultations. Responsibilities include managing chronic and acute conditions, developing health programmes, and prescriptive tasks. As an Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) at Alma Medical Centre, Southampton, you will provide an efficient on-the-day service to our patients through face-to-face or via telephone/electronic consultations. You will be accountable for delivering safe, clinical decision-making and expert care to a high standard.
If you have an interest in education, you could take part in a new initiative by being involved in the supervision of medical students and GP Registrar training practice.
Salary will be dependent on experience and will be discussed at interview. Other benefits included for this role are Medical Indemnity, NHS Pension, and 30 days' holiday p.a. pro-rata.
This is a part-time post working a minimum of 17 hours per week, with consideration for more hours on Thursdays and Fridays.
Develop, implement, and embed health promotion and wellbeing programmes.
Manage patients presenting with a range of acute and chronic medical conditions, providing subject matter expert advice.
Implement and evaluate individual specialized treatment plans for chronic disease patients.
Identify, manage, and support patients at risk of developing long-term conditions, preventing adverse effects to the patient's health.
