A healthcare organization in Sheffield is seeking an Advanced Nurse Practitioner to provide care and clinical assessment for patients. This post is for 10.5 hours per week.
The post holder is an experienced nurse who, acting within their professional boundaries, will provide care for the patient from initial history taking, clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and evaluation of care. They will demonstrate safe, clinical decision-making and expert care, including assessment and diagnostic skills, for patients within the general practice.
The post holder will demonstrate critical thinking in the clinical decision-making process. They will work collaboratively with the PSC practices to meet the needs of patients, supporting the delivery of policy and procedures, and providing clinical leadership as required. In order to work at this level, NMC requirements for advanced practice must be met. To be considered for this exciting role, you must have a minor illness qualification and a Non-Medical Prescribing qualification (V300).
The work to be undertaken could be as part of a group-wide triage team or within one of our seven practices.
Our Mulberry Practice is a Specialist Centre for patients who are seeking asylum in the UK, homeless, living in a hostel or temporary accommodation, and living in Sheffield. Our team has vast knowledge and experience in dealing with the complex issues that these individuals often have and recognise the problems faced in accessing mainstream services.
