Job summary

Abbey Medical Centre is seeking an experienced Advanced Nurse Practitioner to lead clinical assessments and chronic disease monitoring within the practice. The role is 16 hours per week, spread over two days, with hours 8:30am–5pm, and will be paid as Band 7 equivalent based on experience.

The successful candidate will join a supportive team in a well-organised urban practice with GP partners, a practice nurse team, and allied health colleagues.

Qualifications

• Experience as an Advanced Nurse Practitioner is required.
• Ability to perform clinical assessments and review investigations.
• Knowledge of chronic disease monitoring in primary care preferred.

Job description

Abbey Medical Centre are looking to recruit an experienced, enthusiastic and motivated Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join our Practice.

The candidates will be responsible for carrying out clinical assessments, reviewing results and following up investigations. A knowledge of chronic disease monitoring and primary care nursing is preferred.

We are looking for Band 7 equivalent and rate of pay will be dependent on experience however this will be reviewed annually. 16 hours per week, 8.30am-5pm 2 days per week preferred working pattern.

We are a large, friendly, well organised Practice with currently 5 GP Partners, 3 salaried GP's, and 2 ANP's. We also have a Practice Nurse, Phlebotomy Team, Community Link Worker, Paramedic support for home visits and Community Mental Health Worker within the Practice through the week. We are extremely supportive and encourage a positive working environment.
