Job description

Job summary

We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join our friendly and supportive team.

We pride ourselves on providing high-quality, patient-centred care while supporting our clinicians. You will work alongside an experienced team of GPs, ANPs, practice nurse, pharmacists, dispensers, healthcare professionals and an excellent admin support team. The role is aimed at an ANP wanting to develop their breadth of skills and clinical knowledge beyond the management of acute minor illness.

Main duties of the job

You will provide autonomous clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment and ongoing management of patients presenting with a broad range of acute and long-term conditions. Working closely with our GPs and wider multidisciplinary team, you will deliver safe, effective and holistic patient care. The role offers the opportunity to work alongside our experienced GPs to develop and expand the breadth of your clinical skills and knowledge. This will be achieved by daily professional discussion with the GP, managing one's own blood results (training and support given) re-booking follow up appointments with yourself to promote continuity of care. You will be mentored to have confidence in taking on a varied caseload beyond the management of acute same day minor illnesses.
