Advanced Nurse Practitioner, Scunthorpe
Flexible hours, CPD, Social team, 6 weeks AL (plus BH)

A GP surgery in Scunthorpe is currently on the lookout for a permanent Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join their famously friendly team. Are you interested? The surgery in question is looking for an experienced ANP to work anywhere between 24 – 40 hours a week, meaning both part and full-time applicants are welcome to apply!

You will be responsible for working autonomously through your own patient list to see a range of acute on the day appointments and running your own Minor Illness clinics, working to 15-minute appointments.

To be considered for this role, you will:

1. Have an MSc in Advanced Practice (OR have at least 3 years’ experience as a Nurse Practitioner)
2. Have Primary Care experience
3. Have prior experience with EMIS
4. Be comfortable with the idea of being the only clinician on-site at times (There will be a GP on site for at least one session during the day, and a duty doctor to hand via the phone. You’ll be supported by a PN and HCA daily)
5. Have fantastic organisational skills

In return, the surgery can offer a competitive salary of around £48,000 - £56,000 FTE (dependent on experience), NHS Pension, Indemnity, 6 weeks annual leave (plus bank holidays), sick and maternity pay, free parking, and much more!

The surgery you’ll be based at is the smaller site of the two within the group, with around 3500 patients on its list, with 11,000 total across sites. The surgery is a teaching practice, meaning they are happy to support any training or specialisms that you may want to pick up, offering great CPD opportunities.
