Salary: £65,125 per annum (pro rata)
Hours: 32–37 hours per week, with working days and hours negotiable.
Newfield Medical Group is seeking an experienced, enthusiastic and highly motivated Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join our friendly, supportive and forward-thinking team. We are a not-for-profit GP worker co-operative based in Dundee, serving a growing patient population of over 8,200. As a Deep End practice, we care for one of Dundee's most socioeconomically deprived communities, with a strong commitment to tackling health inequalities and delivering high-quality, accessible and patient-centred care.
We operate an innovative GP-led access model, with clinical triage at the heart of how we manage patient demand. We are looking for a confident and capable ANP who enjoys working in a busy primary care environment, is comfortable managing acute and undifferentiated presentations, and can undertake telephone triage and face-to-face consultations. The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent clinical judgement, independent prescribing skills and the ability to manage episodes of care autonomously within their professional competence, including investigations, treatment, referrals and follow-up.
We are particularly interested in individuals who are proactive, hardworking, adaptable and willing to take ownership of their clinical workload. Excellent communication skills, sound decision-making and a genuine commitment to teamwork are essential. We value practitioners who embrace the challenges of modern general practice, enjoy making a meaningful contribution and are keen to help shape and develop our services.
Newfield offers a rewarding and varied working environment within modern, purpose‑built premises at The Crescent, including a dedicated Training Hub. We are an established teaching and training practice with strong links to the University of Dundee, supporting undergraduate medical students, ScotGEM placements and postgraduate doctors in training. We offer excellent opportunities for professional development, clinical leadership and innovation.
What we offer: A competitive salary, negotiable working arrangements, 33 days' annual leave plus 10 public holidays (pro rata), access to the NHS Pension Scheme (subject to eligibility) and the opportunity to become a member of our co-operative with potential future directorship opportunities subject to eligibility and election.
Above all, we are looking for someone who shares our values, takes pride in delivering excellent patient care and wants to become a valued member of a team where patients, people and community genuinely matter.
