Job summary

Chase Medical is looking for an Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join a semi-rural GP Practice in North East Aberdeenshire. This role offers flexibility and the chance to deliver quality primary care within a supportive team environment.

You'll assess and treat patients, manage minor illnesses, and work collaboratively with GPs. The position provides competitive pay between £32 to £36 per hour, up to full-time hours, and a strong commitment to professional development.

Responsibilities

About the Role

A well-established GP Practice is seeking an enthusiastic Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join our friendly, well-established semi-rural team in North East Aberdeenshire.

Serving a patient population of approximately 6,500 across three sites in New Pitsligo, Strichen and Maud, this role offers a varied and rewarding opportunity to deliver high-quality, community-centred primary care within a supportive multidisciplinary environment.

About the Role

• Assessing, diagnosing, treating and referring patients as appropriate
• Managing minor illness presentations
• Supporting on-the-day and face-to-face appointments
• Conducting comprehensive physical assessments
• Assessing and managing acute clinical concerns
• Providing patient education, self-management advice and health promotion
• Working collaboratively with GPs and the wider multidisciplinary team
• Maintaining accurate, timely and compliant patient records
