Job description

We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic, reliable, and highly motivated individual for the role of Advanced Nurse Practitioner.

We are a large, forward-thinking, paperless practice serving 17,000 patients, based in excellent, modern, purpose-built premises. Our strength lies in the diversity of skills and professional interests within our team. We have a multidisciplinary clinical team comprising Doctors, Advanced Nurse Practitioners, Pharmacists, First Contact Physios, Health Care Assistants, Nurse Associates, Mental Health Practitioners, Health and Wellbeing Coaches, and Social Prescribers. We are committed to facilitating ongoing professional development, offering structured education sessions and regular clinical supervision with GP mentors, integrated into the rota.

Main duties of the job

In this role, you will work independently, making professional, autonomous decisions.

You will be responsible for making necessary referrals, requesting investigations, and managing these in an appropriate manner and timescale.

The role involves initial history taking, clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and evaluation of patient care.
