Job summary

NHS Scotland in Aberdeen invites an Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join our multi-disciplinary team. Full-time or part-time hours considered; an independent prescribing qualification is essential to deliver timely acute care and clinical decision making.

You will work autonomously within a supportive Duty Team, conducting comprehensive assessments, prescribing where appropriate, and collaborating with GPs, nurses and allied staff to maintain high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Advanced Nurse Practitioner with independent prescribing qualification essential.
• Experience in acute/primary care settings is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments of patients.
• Prescribe medications where appropriate.
• Make clinical decisions as part of the Duty Team.
• Work autonomously while collaborating with GPs and other clinicians.
