King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a trained neuro-oncology nurse to join the CNS team. The role involves supporting patients through pre-assessment, surgical and oncology pathways, ensuring seamless care with excellent communication.

You will be part of a well-established CNS team with a background in AOS, oncology or neurosurgery; the post requires delivering high-quality, evidence-based nursing across complex pathways and MDT coordination.

Formación

• NMC registration must be current.
• Degree (BSc) or equivalent in a health-related subject.
• Relevant experience in Neuro-oncology is essential.
• Proven experience in service development and audit.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in delivering an advanced specialist nursing service for neuro-oncology.
• Provide specialist nursing advice to patients and families.
• Maintain high standard of evidence-based nursing care with clear patient care plans.
• Manage a patient caseload and coordinate referrals.
• Participate in MDT meetings and pre-assessment pathways.
• Support outpatient clinics and nurse-led results clinic.
• Contribute to development of care pathways and MDT documentation.
