Job description

As the saying goes, no two days will be the same, but overall, you'll be doing the following:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments, diagnosis, and management of patients who would traditionally be referred into secondary care rheumatology services with non-inflammatory/persistent joint problems.
  • Develop and implement individualised treatment plans, including pharmacological and non-pharmacological interventions, to optimally manage patients' conditions.
  • Provide specialty advice to requests from stakeholders across the pathway.
  • Lead and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to coordinate care and ensure holistic treatment approaches.
  • Maintain professional relationships with external clinical stakeholders (such as secondary care consultants and GPs) to facilitate successful partnership working and the delivery and development of high-quality rheumatology care for patients across the system.

We are seeking a well-organised Advanced MSK Clinician to deliver quality clinical care for patients with MSK conditions. You will undertake comprehensive assessment and diagnosis of patients with a wide variety of physical and emotional needs, formulate, deliver, review, and progress individual treatment programmes, and ensure effective treatment, specialist advice, and timely discharge are achieved.
