Overview: We have a fantastic opportunity for an Advanced Manufacturing Technologist specializing in composites at Leonardo Helicopters in Yeovil, UK. This role involves working within our Technology and Innovation UK group to shape future technological pathways, collaborate with external stakeholders, and deliver innovative projects.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate technology development activities focused on composites.
• Collaborate with manufacturing teams across various disciplines.
• Support creation of Technology Roadmaps and conduct research on UK technological developments.
• Engage in technology scouting and build future partnerships.
• Participate in funding, proposals, and business case development.
• Manage composite research with UK Catapult Centers and research committees.
• Incorporate sustainability and circularity principles in innovation.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
• Strong communication and team engagement skills.
• Experience in delivering technology projects.
• Creative problem-solving skills.
• Ability to produce high-quality written and verbal outputs.
• Proactive mindset with drive for successful outcomes.
• Experience with composite materials and aerospace qualification processes is preferred.
