Status: Term Time Only; 35 hours per week, dual role: 17.5 hours AILP, 17.5 hours ILP

Overview
Reaseheath College is offering a unique opportunity for a passionate and experienced professional to take on a dual role that combines the responsibilities of both the Advanced Inclusive Learning Practitioner (AILP) and the Inclusive Learning Practitioner (ILP), offering a varied and rewarding role for someone who thrives on challenge, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

About the role
As this is a dual role, the position will be split between 17.5 hours AILP and 17.5 hours ILP.
In the role, you will lead and deliver high-quality learning support interventions, mentor colleagues, and work directly with students to help them access the curriculum and develop independent learning skills. You will oversee a caseload, contribute to EHCP reviews, and collaborate with curriculum teams to embed inclusive practices across the College.

Key responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver tailored 1:1 and small group interventions
  • Monitor student progress and evaluate impact against EHCP targets
  • Promote independent learning through assistive technology and study skills development
  • Collaborate with curriculum staff to implement dynamic support strategies
  • Contribute to the development of inclusive learning resources
  • Maintain accurate records and produce high-quality reports

The successful candidate will have:
