Job summary

St George's University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust in London is recruiting an Advanced Biomedical Scientist – Histology Specimen Dissection for a full-time, permanent role based at London site. You will be HCPC registered with considerable histopathology diagnostic experience and work within the Cellular Pathology Department to support technical leads, training, and specimen dissection.

Qualifications

• HCPC registered and considerable experience in a diagnostic histopathology laboratory.

Responsibilities

• Provide and co-coordinate specialist clinical technical services including research and audit samples.
• Undertake day-to-day management of a section within the laboratory under the direction of an aline manager.
• Contribute to delivering a professional clinical technical laboratory service as part of the department.
• Provide training and supervision to staff within the section.
