We have a fantastic vacancy for a part-time Band 7 Dietitian on the Digestive Diseases Unit at RSCH in Brighton, covering maternity leave. This unit offers care for gastroenterology patients regionally and locally.
The role involves inpatient ward work, outpatient clinics, and group sessions such as FODMAP. It includes a high level of nutrition support, both enteral and parenteral. Cross-cover for critical care may be required.
Our Brighton site provides regional services across various specialties, including cancer, renal, head & neck, stroke, trauma, gastroenterology, paediatrics, HIV, and cardiac care. We are a friendly, large team, and we welcome inquiries and informal visits.
This position is based in the Digestive Diseases Unit, providing dietetic care to inpatients and outpatients. You will work closely with the multidisciplinary team and have substantial experience in nutrition support, including enteral and parenteral nutrition.

You will lead and demonstrate expertise in gastroenterology, managing nutritional care, providing advice, education, and support to patients, carers, and health professionals. You will lead relevant clinics or group sessions, such as FODMAP or Coeliac, and be involved in clinical governance, audit, and research activities. Collaboration with the Nutrition Support Team and other Gastrointestinal Dietitians is essential.
