Qualifications

Within this role there will be an element of service and business development with a solid understanding of the specialist field, to represent and direct high-quality nutritional care, to grow and develop the service line. Working with a high level of independence, the role may include mentoring and supervision of junior members of the dietetic department. Student training, in-service teaching, service development and service promotion would be expected. The postholder should be able to independently manage the nutritional care of patients which may include enteral and parenteral feeding and will deputise for the Lead Dietitian when required.

What you'll bring
  • Registered with the Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC) and British Dietetic Association (BDA).
  • Four years post registration clinical experience
  • Minimum of two years experience within the field of paediatric dietetics
  • Evidence of continued professional development (CPD) and renewal of clinical skills and knowledge.
  • Ability to lead and contribute to service development and quality projects.
  • Experience in evaluating projects and conducting clinical audits.
  • Knowledge and understanding of nutritional screening tools.
