BCT Resourcing is recruiting a Diagnostic Vehicle Technician for a Dover-based preparation centre. The role focuses on advanced diagnostics across a wide range of modern vehicles, with no customer interaction and a Monday to Friday pattern.

You will diagnose fault codes, use specialist equipment, and perform repairs where needed, earning a basic salary of £40,000–£55,000. This position offers a reputable, well-run dealership with a strong emphasis on quality and work-life balance.

Qualifications

• Qualified Vehicle Technician with diagnostics and fault-finding experience.
• Strong knowledge of modern vehicle electrical/electronic systems.
• Experience across multiple manufacturers and confident using diagnostic gear.

Responsibilities

• Carry out advanced vehicle diagnostics and fault-finding.
• Investigate electrical, electronic and mechanical faults.
• Use diagnostic equipment to identify root causes.
• Interpret fault codes and live data to diagnose issues.
• Diagnose engine management, sensor, wiring and control faults.
• Repair and rectify issues where required, supporting the workshop.
