Advanced Contraception Practitioner (Birmingham)

We are seeking a Registered Adult Nurse or Registered Midwife with a current and valid Nursing and Midwifery Council Pin to join our team as an Advanced Contraception Practitioner.

The ideal candidate will possess or be working towards an FSRH diploma (or equivalent), proficiency in fitting/removing implants and intrauterine contraceptives, and a background in sexual and reproductive health. Experience in teaching or education, along with non-medical prescribing capabilities, is highly desirable.

Main duties of the job

As an Advanced Contraception Practitioner, your role will involve facilitating the provision of high-quality contraception services. You will serve as a coach, mentor, and supervisor to empower team members to confidently promote contraception.
