Job summary

Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Band 6 Physiotherapist to join the Community Inpatient Rehabilitation Team at South Molton Hospital. You will provide specialist assessment, diagnosis and treatment for a caseload of acute and chronic conditions in the community.

Based on Hugh Squier Ward, you will work as an autonomous practitioner, supervise junior staff, and contribute to service development.

Qualifications

• Relevant clinical experience in community rehabilitation and acute/chronic conditions.
• Band 6 or experienced Band 5 physiotherapist.
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct high‑quality assessment, treatment planning and rehabilitation management for diverse clinical presentations.
• Manage caseload, including delegation to junior staff and supervision.
• Collaborate with Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists and Rehabilitation Support workers within the MDT.
