Advanced Clinical Practitioner (Remote Triage) | Blackpool
FCMS is looking to expand our remote triage Clinical Team!
  • Contract – Permanent
  • Location – Newfield House, Vicarage Lane, Blackpool, Lancashire, FY4 4EW
  • Salary – £27.49 to £30.63 an hour depending on experience
Main duties of the role

The post holder will carry out consultations for patients requiring assessment to determine the next course of treatment. Responsibilities include communicating with a range of health professionals, such as nurses and paramedics, who may be in a patient's home providing advice, as well as interacting directly with patients and relatives needing advice or medication prescriptions.

You will need to effectively prioritize patients in the queue. Our services operate across various areas in the Northwest of England and South Yorkshire, including UTCs, 111, out-of-hours, CAS, and APAS calls, among others. Calls are categorized by urgency, and you will clinically oversee these, selecting the most urgent cases to handle, including generating prescriptions, sending them via EPS, providing further advice, admitting patients, or referring to other services.
