A medical staffing agency is seeking an Advanced Clinical Practitioner for a locum role in Newcastle upon Tyne. Qualifications

Advanced Clinical Practitioner - Locum Role

Merco Medical is currently recruiting experienced and highly skilled Advanced Clinical Practitioners (ACPs) to support Out of Hours (OOH) and Home Visiting services across North Tyne and Northumberland (Newcastle upon Tyne, Ashington, Hexham, Berwick-upon-Tweed, Alnwick)

Please note due to the OOH nature of the role that shift patterns will be weekday evenings and nights, and shifts available all day on weekends and bank holidays.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide autonomous clinical assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of patients presenting with a range of minor conditions.
  • Deliver care in both Out of Hours clinics and through home visits.
  • Support patients across all age groups, including paediatrics.
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure a high standard of care delivery.
  • MSc qualification in Advanced Clinical Practice (or equivalent)
  • Previous Primary/Urgent Care experience
  • Accredited qualifications in Minor Illness and Minor Injury
  • Experience in paediatric assessment and care
  • Palliative Care experience (desirable)

Rates

  • LTD Company, between £40 - £55. Please enquire for PAYE.
