Job summary
An exciting career opportunity has arisen for a full-time job share opportunity within the Frailty Assessment/SDEC Unit and HOOH at Sheffield Teaching Hospitals, for a qualified Advanced Clinical Practitioner, Band 7/8a depending on experience.
This is a fantastic opportunity to develop new clinical experience, skills and knowledge across the entire spectrum of the hospital out of hours and within Frailty Assessment Unit and SDEC.
Main duties of the jobThe role provides specialist assessment and management of patients across our Frailty Assessment Unit, Frailty Same Day Emergency Care (SDEC) and the HOOH Team under the supervision of a dynamic and supportive consultant body.
The successful candidate should have a friendly, compassionate and sensitive manner with a genuine desire and passion to help people. As this is a challenging role you must have the ability to demonstrate patience and empathy, with a good range of clinical skills, inspiring confidence and trust to all patients.
