Job summary

Locum Ready is seeking an Advanced Clinical Practitioner to support regional community health and primary care services around Windermere. The role offers flexible sessional work in community clinics, suitable for ACPs with autonomous clinical assessment experience and ability to respond to urgent patient demand.

You will join established clinical teams, performing advanced decision making, routine assessments and urgent care support across varied service environments, with Rotas offering

Qualifications

• Advanced Clinical Practitioner Level 7 qualification.
• Background in Nursing, Paramedic Science, AHP or similar.
• Independent Prescribing (V300) is desirable.
• Experience in GP, urgent care or community health services.
• Ability to work independently in varied clinical environments.
• Enhanced DBS.

Responsibilities

• Delivering ACP-led sessions within community and primary care settings.
• Managing acute, undifferentiated and minor illness presentations.
• Supporting urgent patient demand through telephone or face-to-face triage.
• Prescribing safely within scope of competence.
• Managing clinical actions including results, medication reviews and follow-up tasks.
• Recording accurate and clear digital documentation.
