Locum Ready is seeking an Advanced Clinical Practitioner to support regional community health and primary care services across Hockley, offering flexible sessional work in community clinics.

The role involves autonomous clinical assessment, urgent care support, and delivering ACP-led sessions within diverse community and primary care settings, with emphasis on safe prescribing and thorough digital documentation.

Qualifications

• Advanced Clinical Practitioner qualification (Level 7).
• Clinical background in Nursing, Paramedic Science, AHP or similar.
• Independent Prescribing (V300) desirable.
• Experience in GP, urgent care or community health services.
• Ability to work independently in varied clinical environments.
• Enhanced DBS.

Responsibilities

• Delivering ACP-led sessions within community and primary care settings.
• Managing acute, undifferentiated and minor illness presentations.
• Supporting urgent patient demand through telephone or face-to-face triage.
• Prescribing safely within scope of competence.

You will work as part of established clinical teams, providing advanced decision-making, routine assessments and urgent care support across a range of structured service environments.
