Simply put, we seek out people who care, act with integrity and have the right skills. We want to add to our incredible colleagues, students and volunteers who share these principles, with people like you, who find empathy comes easily and who treat everyone with respect without thinking. Join Connect as an Advanced Clinical Practitioner in our Adult Eating Disorders Inpatient Unit.

Connect is the lead provider of specialist adult eating disorder services across West Yorkshire and one of the country’s leading NHS Eating Disorder Provider Collaboratives.

We are looking for a motivated and compassionate Advanced Clinical Practitioner (ACP) to join our inpatient team and play a key role in delivering specialist care to adults experiencing eating disorders.
This is an exciting opportunity to join the region’s leading adult eating disorder service where your clinical expertise, ideas and initiative will make a real difference.

You will have the opportunity to contribute to the continued development of our service, help shape how care is delivered, and work alongside colleagues who share a commitment to providing high-quality, person-centred care.

At Connect, we believe in continually learning, developing and finding better ways to support the people who use our services. We are looking for someone who shares this commitment, enjoys working collaboratively, and is enthusiastic about bringing their skills and experience to a specialist area of care.

To be eligible for this role, you must hold an Advanced Clinical Practitioner qualification and a Non-Medical Prescriber qualification.

Main duties of the job

As the Advanced Clinical Practitioner (ACP) for Adult Eating Disorders, you will play a key role in delivering and shaping high quality, specialist care for adults with eating disorders across community and inpatient services. As a senior clinician within Connect, you will combine advanced clinical practice with professional leadership, service development and a commitment to improving outcomes for the people we support.

This is an opportunity to use your clinical expertise and leadership skills to make a meaningful difference, influence how care is delivered, and help shape the future of specialist eating disorder services across West Yorkshire.

Working in line with the four pillars of Advanced Clinical Practice: clinical practice, leadership, facilitation of learning, and evidence, research and development — you will have a varied and influential role, balancing direct patient care with opportunities to develop colleagues, improve clinical pathways and drive innovation.
