Job summary

Locum Ready is seeking a proactive Advanced Clinical Practitioner to join a GP practice in Hove. You will conduct comprehensive assessments, make safe clinical decisions and contribute to top-quality patient outcomes within a supportive, structured primary care setting.

Role involves a mix of urgent care, routine appointments, and clinical triage with flexible ad-hoc or regular sessions. Prior primary care and independent prescribing experience are advantageous.

Qualifications

• Advanced Clinical Practitioner training at Level 7.
• Independent prescribing qualification (V300 or equivalent) desirable.
• Experience in primary care, urgent care or emergency settings.
• Excellent clinical reasoning and patient communication skills.
• Ability to work autonomously in clinic.
• Enhanced DBS and up-to-date clinical training.

Responsibilities

• Managing same-day and routine ACP appointments.
• Assessing, diagnosing and treating a wide range of presentations.
• Supporting on-the-day demand through telephone triage.
• Prescribing independently where qualified.
• Actioning results, referrals and follow-up tasks.
