Job summary

Locum Ready is seeking an Advanced Clinical Practitioner to work in a GP practice in Hinckley. You will partner with GPs, Nurses and staff to perform comprehensive assessments and support high-quality patient outcomes in a busy primary care setting.

Flexible ad-hoc or regular sessions are available, with morning and afternoon clinics and options for long-term or short-term placements in a structured, supportive environment.

Qualifications

• ACP training at Level 7 completed.
• Independent Prescribing qualification (V300) desirable.
• Experience in primary care, urgent care or emergency settings.
• Excellent clinical reasoning and patient communication skills.
• Ability to work autonomously in clinic.
• Enhanced DBS and up-to-date clinical training.

Responsibilities

• Managing same-day and routine ACP appointments.
• Assessing, diagnosing and treating a wide range of presentations.
• Supporting on-the-day demand through telephone triage.
• Prescribing independently where qualified.
• Actioning results, referrals and follow-up tasks.
• Maintaining accurate and compliant patient records.
