Merco Medical are proud to support the recruitment of an experienced Advanced Clinical Practitioner to join a vibrant, patient-focused practice in Liskeard, Cornwall.

Location: Liskeard, Cornwall
Salary: £50,000 – £55,000 per annum FTE (DOE)
Hours: Full-time (40 hours) and part-time considered
Contract Type: Permanent

The Opportunity

This is a fantastic opportunity for an ACP to help transform and modernise care pathways within a multi-disciplinary practice team. You’ll use your advanced clinical skills to assess, diagnose, and treat patients autonomously, while playing a vital leadership role in clinical governance and team development.

This role is ideal for a practitioner passionate about delivering outstanding primary care and working collaboratively within a progressive, community-centred service.

What You’ll Do

  • Deliver autonomous patient assessments, diagnoses, and treatments
  • Provide clinical leadership and governance support to ensure safe, compliant service delivery
  • Work closely with a diverse MDT: GPs, nurses, wellbeing advisors, health coaches, physician associate, and more
  • Contribute to continuous service improvement and innovation
  • Balance traditional and modern approaches to healthcare delivery

What We’re Looking For

  • NMC/HCPC/GPhC registration
  • MSc in Advanced Practice or equivalent
  • Certified Independent Prescriber
  • Strong experience in primary care and minor illness management
  • Ability to manage full episodes of care
  • Skilled communicator and confident clinical decision-maker
  • Flexible, resilient, and capable of leading and inspiring teams
  • EMIS system experience preferred
