A GP Super Partnership located in Bournemouth is seeking an experienced Advanced Clinical Practitioner (ACP) to work across multiple sites. The role involves clinical assessments, patient care, and working within advanced practice guidelines. Ideal candidates will hold relevant advanced nursing qualifications and have experience in primary care. Competitive salary based on experience, part-time contract in a supportive team environment.

Job summary

Shore Medical is seeking an experienced ACP, with experience working in Primary Care to work across all Shore sites. They will act within their professional boundaries and working within the four pillars of Advanced practice (HEE 2017). The post holder will be expected to take a thorough history and clinically assess patients, with both acute and chronic diseases.

Main duties of the job
  • Demonstrate the ability to work within the Four Pillars of Advanced Practice, (HEE 2017), and the NMC Code of Conduct (2018), and deliver nursing care of the highest standard.
  • Be professionally and legally accountable for all aspects of your work, promoting high standards of clinical care.
  • Provide a first point of contact for patients that present with undifferentiated, undiagnosed problems, making use of skills of history taking, complex clinical decision making to establish diagnosis and management plan.
  • Instigate necessary invasive and non-invasive diagnostic tests and investigations, interpreting findings where appropriate.
  • Prescribe safely, using evidenced based and cost-effective measures as defined by current legislative and professional frameworks within scope of practice, Complete Annual Prescribing Portfolio as part of CPD.

Qualifications

Essential:

  • Registered Nurse MSc in advanced clinical practice or NHS digital badge Non medical independent prescribing qualification V300 or equivalent Teaching and Assessing qualification.
  • Non-Medical prescribing qualification
  • Full UK Driving Licence (and access to a car)

Desirable:

  • Evidence of ongoing learning, reflection and professional development Recognised Leadership course
