Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Band 7 cancer pharmacist to join a leading oncology team. You will provide high-quality pharmaceutical care across inpatient, day-case and outpatient settings, and contribute to SACT management, education clinics and MDT activities.

The post offers a chance to work in a major clinical trials centre with opportunities to pursue research, including PhD work, and develop non-medical prescribing within multidisciplinary cancer clinics.

Formación

• Qualified pharmacist with GPhC registration.
• Experience with systemic anticancer therapies (SACT) and oncology pharmaco-therapeutics.
• Prescribing training or MSc with interest in cancer care is desirable.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver high-quality pharmaceutical care to adult cancer in-patients, day-case and out-patients.
• Participate in Day Treatment Unit pharmacy services to optimise patient understanding and reduce wastage.
• Clinically screen and check SACT and supportive medications.
• Participate in MDT meetings and ward rounds.
• Lead oral anti-cancer treatment education clinics.
• Non-medical prescribing in clinics and DTU settings.
• CTASU involvement and QA/quality improvement.
• Contribute to cancer early/late phase trials and Thames Valley Cancer Alliance activities.
