Overview

This is a fantastic opportunity for a graduate with at least 2 years' proven commercial experience in an Analyst role to join a highly respected global company.

Candidate Profile

We are seeking a bright graduate with a minimum of 2 years post-university experience in an analytical role using SQL. Data visualisation skills using Tableau, PowerBI, or Excel are essential, with any consulting or modelling experience being desirable. Suitable degrees include Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, MORSE, Economics, Data Science, etc.

Key Attributes

You should have a strong enthusiasm for problem solving and a passion for data. The role involves providing analytical expertise, identifying data gaps, and proactively developing the data agenda in line with business priorities. A positive attitude and curiosity are highly valued.

Communication and Development

Good communication skills, along with ambition and a desire to develop professionally, are essential.

Responsibilities

1. Partner with core business areas to understand their data, reporting, visualisation, and analysis needs.
2. Manage dashboards, visualisations, and data sources, and seek continuous improvement.
3. Deliver accurate data sets and visualisations within agreed timescales.
4. Structure problems and develop numerical models to inform decision-making.
5. Engage stakeholders and gain buy-in for ideas and approaches.
6. Provide insights for critical business questions using SQL, Tableau, Python, Excel, etc.
