The starting salary for a NQSW is £34,902 per annum, rising to £37,185 per annum upon successful completion of the ASYE programme.

About the Role
You will support adults and their families with complex social needs, aiming to maximize their independence.
We currently have opportunities for experienced Social Workers to join our Adult Social Care teams in West Essex, covering Harlow and Epping. The area borders London boroughs, Hertfordshire, and Cambridgeshire, with close links to NHS partners, offering opportunities for cross-authority initiatives and convenient commuting options.
Our teams include Older Adults Mental Health, Discharge to Assess, Learning Disability & Autism, Physical & Sensory Impairments, and Neighbourhood teams. All teams are supportive and offer professional development aligned with SWE regulations.
About You
You should be a qualified social worker with current Social Work England registration, at least 1 year's experience, and evidence of ongoing professional development. You should have a strong understanding of relevant legislation, regulations, and guidance, and experience in chairing meetings with clients, families, and multi-agency professionals. Building strong relationships with partner agencies and the community is essential.

This role involves travel around Essex; a driving license and access to a vehicle or alternative mobility means are essential.
As part of employment, a DBS check may be required, and registration with the DBS update service is necessary if applicable.
