Adult’s Social Worker – Haringey

Hospital Team

Rate: £32 to £34 per hour

We are recruiting motivated qualified social workers to join our busy team. This role is with one of the UK’s highest performing local authorities, serving as one of the best places to live and work in.

This is a qualified role requiring you to be SWE registered and have relevant experience within adult’s services.

We have two positions available:

• Social Worker: £32 per hour
• Senior Social Worker: £34 per hour

The Adult Safeguarding Team is looking to recruit experienced social workers who are motivated and passionate about working with adults, sometimes in challenging circumstances. Our Social Work Team is part of a wider multidisciplinary assessment service, including Social Workers, Occupational Therapists, Assistants, and Surveyors, collaborating with local health trusts to meet service users' holistic needs. We expect you to bring professionalism, ambition, accountability, dignity, respect, empathy, and a collaborative approach to service delivery.

You should have an excellent understanding of relevant legislation, including:

• Care Act
• Mental Health Act
• Mental Capacity Act
• The Human Rights Act
• The Equality Act

You must work in accordance with legislative principles and relevant guidance or case law.
