Job summary

Sanctuary Personnel is seeking a Locum Adults Social Worker to join the Community Team in Manchester. This full-time 3-month assignment offers an hourly rate of £30.00, with a focus on person-centred practice and outcomes for adults in the local area.

You will conduct comprehensive assessments, manage a varied caseload, coordinate with health and social care partners, and engage in safeguarding under the Care Act.

Qualifications

• You hold a Level 3 Social Worker qualification.
• You have at least three years of post-qualifying experience in a statutory Adult Social Care setting.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive social work assessments and interventions using a strength-based and person-centred approach.
• Manage and prioritise a varied caseload while organising your working hours effectively to meet deadlines and team demands.
• Foster productive professional relationships with health and social care services to coordinate comprehensive responses for the local community.
• Engage in safeguarding enquiries in line with the Care Act and local policies, ensuring the protection of vulnerable adults.
• Support colleagues by sharing the team’s workload while participating in a duty rota to provide urgent support to individuals in crisis.
