Job summary

Sanctuary Personnel is seeking a Locum Adults Social Worker for the Adult Care Assessment and Triage Team in Matlock, Derbyshire. The role offers a flexible hybrid working pattern with a competitive hourly rate of £35.00 and options for full time or part time hours to suit your commitments.

You will conduct triage, assessments and safeguarding activities under the Care Act 2014, supported by a collaborative team and ongoing professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Social Work and eligible for Social Work England registration.
• ASYE or equivalent post-qualification experience required.
• Experience working in a UK Local Authority in Adult Social Care.

Responsibilities

• Undertake initial Adult Social Care triage, assessment and screening of referrals.
• Conduct strengths-based and person-centred assessments under Care Act 2014.
• Respond to safeguarding concerns and contribute to Section 42 safeguarding enquiries.
• Complete Mental Capacity Act assessments and Best Interest decisions.
• Provide information, advice, signposting and preventative interventions.
