Job summary

Sanctuary Personnel is seeking two Autism Social Workers for a locum placement with Blackpool Council in the Autism Team. Roles run from 14 September to 13 November, with one 37-hour full-time post and one 30-hour post, based at Bickerstaffe House, Blackpool.

The role offers a hybrid pattern with a minimum in-office presence three days per week. You will conduct Care Act assessments and reviews, lead safeguarding enquiries, and collaborate with families, providers, and partners to deliver

Responsibilities

• Conduct Care Act 2014 assessments, ensuring support plans are person-centered and effective.
• Carry out statutory Care Act reviews ensuring ongoing compliance and adjustment according to individual needs.
• Lead and manage safeguarding enquiries in accordance with Section 42 of the Care Act.
• Work collaboratively with individuals, families, service providers, and partner agencies to deliver comprehensive support.
• Participate in duty cover, contributing to team operations via a shared rota.
• Ensure all case records are maintained with accuracy and punctuality.
