A leading company is seeking an experienced Adults Advanced Practitioner for a hybrid role within the Adults Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub. This long-term temporary position involves leading complex assessments, managing risks, and contributing to multi-agency decision-making while providing critical support to vulnerable adults. Strong qualifications in social work and a proven background in safeguarding are essential.

We’re looking for an experienced Adults Advanced Practitioner to join Oldham Council’s frontline team on a full-time, hybrid basis.
You’ll initially be based in the Adults Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH), leading the screening and triage of safeguarding referrals. However, this is a peripatetic role, meaning you may be required to support other Adult Social Care (ASC) teams across the service as operational needs evolve.
Lead on complex Care Act assessments and safeguarding enquiries
Manage risk effectively and ensure statutory responsibilities are met
Work across multiple service areas to provide experienced practitioner input
Contribute to effective multi-agency working and timely decision making
Support team development and share best practice in safeguarding
Proven background in complex Care Act work and safeguarding in Adults Services
Confidence operating in fast-paced MASH or front door environments
Flexibility to work across teams as part of a peripatetic model
HCPC / Social Work England registration
Strong knowledge of legislation, policy and procedures in adult safeguarding

A professional qualification in social work
Social Work England registration.
Enhanced DBS/Update service.
